The jury made up of experts has announced the winners of the 2nd edition of the Kaixomundua.eus contest, organized by the PuntuEUS Foundation, coinciding with the school year. Kaixomundua.eus is a project aimed at the school community that allows students and teachers to learn together. Its objective is for students to move from being mere digital consumers to digital creators and the tool for this is web creation. The contest with the support of the Euskaltel Foundation and Dinahosting, has successfully closed the course, since participation in kaixomundua.eus during the course 2020-2021 has doubled in the second edition.

A total of 36 schools in the Basque Country have participated, among which are the 1,300 students who have learned to build websites thanks to kaixomundua.eus. Of all of them, 21 centers have decided to reach the end of the tour and in addition to learning to create websites, they have decided to submit to contest the created websites. Thus, a total of 135 groups of students have delivered their work to be evaluated in the three categories of the contest.

Pioneering awards ceremony in the new Twitch channel of PuntuEUS

The first streaming via Twitch of the PuntuEUS Foundation has been the award ceremony of the Kaixomundua.eus contest. The program has been conducted by Leire Martínez de Erice, host of Gaztea Irratia, and has had the collaboration of expert gamer Nabukai, together with Lorea Argarate, educational advisor of Kaixo Mundua, and Leire Palacios, head of the kaixomundua.eus. The duration of the streaming has been 60 minutes and both nervousness and illusion have been the main protagonists of the streaming. Everyone has had time to talk about their work.

The Twitch channel that just launched the PuntuEUS Foundation is called Sarean_eus and will now join its digital publication on the Web. The digital media sarean.eus already has two branches: the digital portal and the radio program called Sarean that, presents and directs Leire Palacios, and is carried out in collaboration with Euskadi Irratia.
