The presence of Euskera in the digital environment will be the subject of reflection on October 5, within the cycle, Euskara ala ezkara. Revolving around culture, the event seeks to analyze the presence of Euskera in the digital world with a program suitable for the general public prepared by Elgoibarko Izarra, the municipality of Elgoibar, and the PuntuEUS Foundation. From 9:30 to 17:30, there will be conferences, research presentations and concerts at the IMH Institute of Elgoibar. There will also be occasion to enjoy lunch, and the price of enrollment is 35 euro.
16 specialists on the subject will meet in Elgoibar to reflect on the presence of Euskera in the digital environment. The event will connect different points of view regarding – among other questions – the use of langage and its transformation, the Euskera brand, digital skills in education, digital sovereignty, and leisure.
The cycle is being organized this year in collaboration between Elgoibarko Izarra Euskaltzaleon Topagunea, the municipality of Elgoibar and the PuntuEUS Foundation.
The Euskara ala ezkara cycle, to be organized in honor of the writer and promoter of Euskera, Gotzon Garate, is in its eleventh edition this year.
